The Draa & Tafilalet Travel Agencies Regional Association is an association created to unify the various travel agents in this vast region of southern Morocco. In accordance with Moroccan law no. 31-96 / chapter 4, and respecting the legal obligations of a Morocco travel agency, ARAVDT was created as a non-profit association in order to better manage and unite the various actors within this noble activity.
Welcome to our website where we collect legal and contact information about our travel agencies and tour operators in Morocco, but also announce the various events and activities throughout the year. Draa-Tafilalet travel agencies are among the best Morocco tour companies.
ARAVDT operates in the five Moroccan provinces and represents tour operators and travel agencies in Errachidia, travel agencies in Midelt, travel agencies in Ouarzazate, travel agencies in Tinghir, and travel agencies in Zagora.
The Draa-Tafilalet territory is distinguished by its exquisite beauty, but also by significant environmental restrictions due to the harsh weather in vast areas of sparsely populated territories.
The Draa-Tafilalet Region covers the Atlas Mountains as well as steppe and desert areas with oases. It limits to the south with the Algerian border, to the west with the Sous-Massa region, to the north with the Marrakech-Safi region, the Beni Melal-Jenifra region, and the Fez-Meknes region, and to the east with the Oriental region.
Ksar Ait Benhaddou
The Draa-Tafilalet Region is the proud location of Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a prime World Heritage site listed by UNESCO since 1987.
Ait Ben Haddou adobe village is carved on a slope at the foot of the Atlas with the river at its feet.
Ait Benhaddou was built in the 17th century and has been the scene of famous movies and television series several times.
This “clay village” at the end of Ounila Valley, is an exotic place that leaves no one indifferent.
The kasbahs and houses inside the ksar are made of mud, wood, mud, and other primary materials.
ARAVDT commits to expanding the regional tourism industry through various projects, including participating in international and national travel events, distributing relevant information, encouraging interaction between members, and strengthening businesses’ growth with adequate legislation.
An association endorsed by the Moroccan Minister of Tourism, the Draa & Tafilalet Travel Agencies Regional Association (ARAVDT), seeks to develop tourism-related services toward visitors of the Draa Tafilalet region in Morocco.
